Foresight — Privacy Policy

Foresight is a prediction-market portfolio tracker. It was built privacy-first: there is no Foresight account, no Foresight server, and no analytics. This policy explains exactly what the app does with data — which is very little.

Information we collect

None. Foresight has no backend of its own. We, the developers, do not receive, store, or have any access to your wallet addresses, credentials, positions, trades, or usage. There is nothing for us to collect because your data never travels to us.

Data stored on your device

Everything Foresight remembers stays on your iPhone:

• Wallet addresses you choose to track are saved locally so the app and its home-screen widget can display your portfolio.
• Kalshi API credentials, if you connect a Kalshi account, are stored only in the iOS Keychain. Your private key never leaves your device — it is used solely to sign requests locally before they go directly to Kalshi. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone other than Kalshi.
• Position and activity history fetched from the services below is cached locally so the app works quickly and offline.

Deleting the app removes all of this from your device.

Third-party services

To show you your portfolio, Foresight sends requests directly from your device to the services you use:

• Polymarket — public market and wallet data (data-api.polymarket.com, gamma-api.polymarket.com). Polymarket wallet data is public and keyed by wallet address.
• Kalshi — your account balance and positions (api.elections.kalshi.com), only if you connect Kalshi, and only using credentials you provide.

These requests contain only what is needed to fetch your data (for example, a wallet address, or a request signed with your Kalshi key). Data these services hold about you is governed by their own privacy policies.

Subscriptions

Foresight Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using Apple's own StoreKit framework; we never see or handle your payment details, and no third-party subscription service is involved. Your subscription status is read directly from Apple on your device.

Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

What we don't do

Foresight contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, no cross-app tracking, and no data brokers. Nothing you do in the app is reported to us or to any third party for advertising or measurement, so the app shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Security

Sensitive credentials are held in the iOS Keychain, and all network traffic uses HTTPS. Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).

Children

Foresight is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 17.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
